It was a great start to week 10 when I predicted the Colts would defeat the Jaguars 28 - 10.  The final score was actually 27 - 10 but hey, close enough.  Here are the rest of the Sports Prophet's predictions for this Sunday's games.

Raiders vs Ravens: The Raiders have shown they can score on occasion but losing their best offensive player (Darren McFadden) will hurt, even against an injury riddled Ravens defense.  Baltimore can also put points on the board and have been very good at home.  Oakland's defense is awful so look for Torrey Smith and Ray Rice to do their thing.  If you own Joe Flacco or need a spot start in fantasy football then he's a great play this Sunday.  Ravens 31 - Raiders 21

Broncos vs Panthers:  The Panthers played the way many of us expected them to throughout this season in their road win at Washington last week.  Maybe they're getting back on track or maybe they took advantage of a pitiful Redskins defense.  Denver looks like a Super Bowl contender and Peyton is back to an MVP level.  The Broncos are clicking and Ron Rivera's clock is ticking.  Peyton and the TE's should have a day and a half.   Broncos 35 - Panthers 24

Giants vs Bengals: For the Giants, the road is their home.  NY has consistently played better football as the visiting team opposed to being in the comforts of their own home.  Eli has not played well lately and the offense has suffered as a result.  The defense is getting their swag back a bit but beware of the G Men second half hazards.  For the past 5 years the Giants have had problems performing down the stretch despite winning 2 Super Bowls since 07'.  The Bengals (3-5) record comes as no surprise to this Prophet.  They didn't beat a team with a winning record all of last year.  The defense has been terrible this season and that was supposed to be their backbone.  Doesn't look good for the jungle cats in Cincy.  Giants 34 - Bengals 23

Titans vs Dolphins:  Tennessee has been a huge disappointment.  Some picked them to be a 6th seed in the playoffs this season.  Jake Locker may be back this weekend so the Titans can start seeing what their future will look like with him throwing passes to a healthy Kenny Britt and rookie Kendall Wright.  The Dolphins suffered a tough road loss at Indy in week 9 but should get back on track in the playoff hunt by dominating the Titans on both sides of the line of scrimmage.  Reggie Bush is the play for you fantasy freaks.  Dolphins 24 - Titans 10

Lions vs Vikings:  One team is on the way up and the other crashing back down to reality.  If Percy Harvin is hurt than Adrian Peterson will have to carry more of the load he's been used to.  Ponder has regressed since starting the season hot and turnover free.  And the defense...the Seahawks scored 30 points against them last week.  The Lions however have won 2 straight and are back in the post season discussion.  Mikel Leshoure finally gives Detroit a viable option at running back.  Calvin Johnson has been great but not getting in the end zone.  Matthew Stafford is getting his game back after an awful start and the Lions are beginning roar.  Yea, that was corney!  Lions 27 - Vikings 17

Bills vs Patriots:  Buffalo and New England always seem to play interesting games.  We've seen great comebacks, huge blowouts and last second touchdowns to win the game.  Earlier this season the Bills made a game out of it until halftime when Tom Brady proceeded to lead the Pats to 50+ points.  New England is coming off their bye week from their victory in London over the Rams and will be well prepared for the Bills two headed monster at running back in Spiller and Jackson.  Give Bill Belichick 2 weeks to get ready for a team and good things will happen.  Patriots 45 - Bills 24

Falcons vs Saints:  Everyone will now start asking if this is the week the Falcons undefeated streak comes to an end.  Well they will have to ask again next week.  Yes, the Saints have been playing much better but their defense still stinks.  Atlanta has one of the best offenses in the league and will score a bunch of touchdowns behind the arm of MVP candidate Matt Ryan.  Julio Jones will have a monster game.  Look for 2 TD's and 150 yards.  If any defense is going to make a stop in this game it will be Atlanta's.  Falcons 38 - Saints 31

Chargers vs Bucs:  This is one of the more interesting games on the schedule this week.  All of a sudden the Bucs have a killer offense.  Doug Martin has run his name into rookie of the year award nomination while Vincent Jackson proves to be one of the best off season acquisitions.  The defense, well that's another story. The Chargers are the total Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde team.  We just don't know which Charger identity we'll see from week to week.  They have problems on both sides of the ball and simply are not consistent enough.  I'm going home team here.  Bucs 31 - Chargers 21

Jets vs Seahawks:  Seattle is definitely a playoff contender.  The defense is top notch, the offense scores when they have to and they love playing for their coach.  They also happen to be one of the best home teams in the NFL with a tremendous crowd The 12th Man) in the stands.  The Jets are another team we just don't know what we'll get.  They're Forrest Gumps box of chocolates.  I'm not sure if the Jets can score against this defense in this environment.  The Jets won't be able to run and we know they can't pass.  Marshawn Lynch will probably have a huge day and I can see a defensive score or two.  This is not a good time for the Jets to travel across country at (3-5).  This loss may put them out of any playoff chances.  Seahawks 21 - Jets 3

Cowboys vs Eagles:  These teams are almost mirror images of one another.  They both have awesome quarterbacks that are under performing.  Each head coach is on the hot seat due to their teams (3-5) starts and already way back of the Giants for the NFC East title.  The worst part is that both teams are loaded with talent on both sides of the ball and are completely underachieving.  In my opinion when you have talent and you don't win then you have to look at the head coach and question his style and decision making.  This game more than any other will be about turnovers.  Whatever team turns the ball over less will win.  My guess is Michael Vick will find more ways to give the other team the ball over Tony Romo.  Cowboys 27 - Eagles 24

Rams vs 49ers:  The Niners and Rams are both coming off bye weeks so they'll be well rested.  The Rams will really need it, especially the defense who will be on the field all day long.  San Fran is guaranteed to run the ball down the Rams throat and work off play action to beat St. Louis shaky line backing core.  Frank Gore is prime for a big day and so is the Niners defense for fantasy owners.  Bradford is prone to the pick and they lack an efficient running game.  This game has blow out written all over it.  49ers 31 - Rams 6

Texans vs Bears:  The game of the week and possibly a Super Bowl preview.  The Bears defense has been incredible and their special teams is one of the better units in football.  Sometimes the Def/ST outscores the offense that relies heavily upon Brandon Marshall in the passing game.  Wade Phillips has already stated that he'll be doubling Marshall all game so the Bears will have to look to their money player Matt Forte to create some offense.  The Texans defense is also a top level unit led by defensive MVP candidate J.J. Watt.  The offense is led by possible league MVP Arian Foster who is All-World at running back.  Matt Schaub has been extremely consistent finding Andre Johnson and Owen Daniels down the field.  I think the Texans are a better, more complete team than the Bears but I believe in home field advantage when two teams are so evenly matched.  Bears 16 - Texans 13
